• Earliness boosts, it doesn't gate — grant, patent or abstract-stage signals with low press coverage score higher; widely covered or long-commercialized items cap at 7.
• No quota — a day with zero qualifying items is a valid result; standards are never lowered to fill the report.
• De-duplicated — known items are only re-reported on a genuinely new development; memorized 3–5 items are "promoted" when they reach ≥ 6.
